You're the new shelter owner. Here's the basics:

Danger Zone
You run a cat rescue shelter. Stray cats arrive in the Intake Room and need your help before they can find a forever home.
All stats decay over time. Keep them topped up!
Unlock new rooms by spending money. Drag cats between rooms (drag works with touch on tablets too). The Feeding Room auto-feeds, just leave cats there with food & water in stock.
A cat is ready to adopt when all 5 stats are at 70% or higher at the same time. Move the cat to the Adoption Center and tap Adopt Out. The higher their stats, the more you earn, so a cat near 100% pays much better than one at 70%. Milestones add a bonus too.
Each cat can earn milestone badges (Well Fed, Fluffy, Social Butterfly, etc.) that add bonus money to their adoption payout. Milestones are earned automatically as you care for a cat.
Tap 📱 Phone to open the shelter phone. Use it to:
Hire helpers from the phone's Hire app (one-time fee + a daily wage paid from your balance):
Each helper introduces themselves and gets to work the moment you hire them.
Open the 📱 Phone and tap Pause (or press Space) to pause, needs, timers and arrivals all freeze until you resume.
Earn money from adoptions. Spend it on supplies and unlocking rooms. Your reputation grows with successful adoptions and falls when cats stay sick. Higher reputation means more strays arrive and higher payouts.
Every few days a special event starts, like Adoption Drive (double payouts) or Supply Drop (free supplies). You'll get a notification message on your phone when an event begins.
Get all five stats (hunger, thirst, happiness, energy, fur) to 70% or higher at the same time, then move the cat to the Adoption Center and tap Adopt Out. Higher stats earn a bigger payout. A mother cat can't be adopted until her kittens have grown up.
Drag the cat's card onto a room in the left menu. On a tablet, press and drag with your finger.
Stats slowly drop over time. Keep cats in the room they need: the Feeding Room auto-feeds (keep food & water in stock), the Play Room raises happiness, and the Sleeping Area restores energy.
Open 📱 Phone → PawMart to order supplies, or hire an Administrative Assistant to unlock Supply Plans that auto-restock every day.
Some strays come in needing care. Treat them in the Exam Room, or hire a Vet Technician to treat them automatically.
Adopt out happy, healthy cats. Higher stats and earned milestones both raise the payout. Higher reputation helps too.

Unpaid wages build up as back pay. After several unpaid days a staff member will quit, and you still owe their missed wages, so keep some money set aside for payroll.
File each receipt: is it money IN or money OUT?

Send each cat to the room that fixes its need.
